Click “Apple” icon in the computer’s menu bar, and select system preferences option from the Apple menu

Select Network option on the left hand side beneath “internet & Wireless” heading

Now hit the button “Advanced”

Now you can see the ipv6 address, by default it is automatic; if you ever wanted to add ipv6 address manually you can go ahead and select the option “Manually”, and enter the address
